Own several of them. Everything works as advertised. Yes, it"s mostly plastic but so far it works (and looks) just fine. A bargain considering the price and very easy to use in comparison to traditional drawer racks. Use the included cable for the HDD LED.
Easy install with no problems, drives slide in and out with no problem. Cost it great for this item. I didn"t get this for frequent swaps such as for backups. I just want the ability to swap OS disks without opening up the case. It seems to work perfectly well for that. For the price I like having the option of swapping disks on a whim.
THIS ITEM IS AWESOME! This is my 3rd server build in the last few years and this enclosure is by far the best I"ve used. Very professional looking and sturdy construction, no flimsy junk here. Easy install and setup was a no brainer. Installed two of these in my Antec 1200 case with ease, running 5 Hitachi 3tb SATA 3, 7200rpm drives and room for two more enclosures when needed. I also like the two options for cooling fan control. Yea a different setup for the power and SATA cables would have been nice but I had absolutely no issues neatly installing wiring. I"m very pleased and will definitely buy more of these when I need them.

Perfect fit in 3 5.25" bays (I was worried looking at it that it would be really snug), but it fit perfect. Moves a lot of air through the HD bays (all bays), no way a HD is over heating in it (under normal circumstances). Over all, I have to say if anyone is looking for a nice hot swappable SATA/SAS container, this one is darn good.
Fits description. It is the best tool-less, tray-less drive bay I have ever seen. Hardware and mechanisms are solid. the fan moves air. It locks. The activity lights are great. Great overall product.
Fit, function, build quality are all excellent. Bought this to provide hard drive backup options in my WHS server.It works without a single issue.Highly recommended.I am running a 2.5 inch hard drive in the lower bay and two 3.5 inch,1TB drives in the upper bays with not a single hickup.Even though there is no claim to being able to support the 2.5 inch drive,it slides right in.
Sturdy construction. Fits every 2.5" drive that I"ve put in it. Easy to install. Installation was straight-forward, and easy. Perfect solution for my raided ssds (one signal cable in from the raid card, one molex to power all drives). quality pcb and tray components. for the price, this is the one to get.

I tried Dual Booting and didn"t really like how things were going with it. I now have two of these and will purchase two more here shortly. NO More problems with my system. I put my Vista Drives in and I have a Vista System. I change them out and have an XP system! TWO Machines for little cash invested! PLUS I like to try out new things like Linux and I will be taking some Server courses. Way trash your everyday system or bring it down even for a few hours by mistake when you can pull out your Everyday system and Put in another drive tinker with it and then swap it again whenever you want!

XClio Goodpower 750W is something special. 80Plus Bronze. It is deathly quiet, so much so that I was worried it wasnt working when I first plugged it in to test it. Quality is what I pay for when I buy components. Functionality and aesthetics are a close second. This power supply encompasses all of those with the power I needed. It"s sturdy, sexy and silent. I would reccomend this to any one looking for a great power supply.
This is another great PSU from XClio. XClio Goodpower 750W is super quiet. XClio is right up there with other top brands, but at a much more affordable price. DO NOT CHEAP OUT YOUR PSU, YOU WILL REGRET IT!! Maybe not now, or next week, but if you cheap out , you can kiss a few of your components goodbye as low quality PSU"s don"t just poop out, they fry other components just to spite you.
This is a great way to save space. I have mine mounted is a 3U server case. Works great for me. This is the best way to add raid to smaller cases. Nice design. Compact size, versatility and construction are the best features. As compared to other similar units it is by far a more sturdy unit.
Pros: big really big my 5870 fits in and it still has space. fans are nice quite but move a good amount of air. they look good. i have had alot of good comments on a 3 of my cases all made by xclio.

Other Thoughts: the metal i thick i had to modife the clip that holds the pcie, pci cards in to clear the 5870 video card the little progs hit the video cards board and fan cover. not a big problem

Looks like a server case (tons of bays), tool-less install for HDs and DVD drives. Its a bit hard to use the tool-less but it works. Room for 3-4 dvd drives and 8-10 HDs. It has 4 fans, that look well placed. Has speed controls for the big top and side fans. Power Supply fits on the bottom so its very stable. Lots of LED lights!! Got some whistles from tech savvy friends as they looked in the case for the first time. It looks pretty good.
This is a very good case with 4 fans (5 if you add one to the back), It keeps everything cool with its very good airflow, This thing does better then some of the expensive branded cases out there that cost over 150$ and have bad airflow. For this great price you just can"t go wrong. Really good case. If your building a budget PC and don"t want to mnake it top notch and want your videos cards and everything else to stay cool, You will be crazy not to own one of these trust me guys.
The HDD modular system vertical stacking makes running lots of drives easy. I run 8 drives with all interfaces so wire managment was hard. I also have a long video card and moved my top HDD tray to second from the top(under the DVD writer). I had to switch the bottom and top front fans to get the fans aligned over the HDD tray moved up. Just barely enough wiggle room . The ability to move that tray, have the PS on the bottom and the absolute best air flow possible though there are some limitations. The fan controls on top of the unit work beautifully. Both the top and the side fans also have on/off switches on the outside of the case. Not "too thin" metal. The tool less design is great, easy to work with for the most part. By far one of the best cases I have ever bought! Just the airflow alone is worth it"s weight in gold. The openeings at the back are handy if you do liquid cooling. not built too thin. Just right and awesome for the prices.
Waited for this Hot-Swap Cage for awhile. Did my research and bought it. The Hot-Swap Cage looks nice, it doesnt look like the other cages thats plastic and looks cheap. I have my main drive with operating system locked in the cage. Computer sometimes wont wake up when left for awhile. I had to go to power options to set "put computer to sleep" to never.
Instant access to drives. In my HAF 932, you have to open both sides of the case just to remove a drive, FAIL.
The fan is on a sealed rear, guaranteeing the drives are cooled. It uses two pairs of SATA power connectors, four SATA data connectors. The fan is quiet. The lights on the front are pretty. A heavy file transfer lit it up, accessing a single file didn"t, running CrystalDiskInfo SMART status freeware did.The units slides in through the front of your case.
This bay has a very high quality look and feel and the trayless mechanism works like a charm. Also, having lockable bays is definitely an added bonus. Works as advertised: seem solid, the SATA contacts are firm, and the lockable doors help secure the hard disks in place.
I was looking for something like this for a long time and everything I saw was cheap plastic. This one is top of the line, solid aluminum. Yes, it is pricy but you pay for quality product. Easy to install and you get 4 drives cage in 3 bays space. SATA cables are lockable.

Pros: Smooth looking case, holds 8 hard drives which is always nice. plenty of room for fans*check cons on this one* easy to install everything touch fan controller is pretty sweet. Great all around case for a decent setup or media server that you want a lot of hds in check out cons but if i would have to buy this again knowing what i know i would have not and waited tell they released the fans for them.

Pros: Can fit anything, fans are extremely quiet for their size, beautiful case, temperature control accurate. Control panel on top is nice, no detrimental sharp edges, comes with Xcilo carrying pouch.
